This two manual, 46 stop organ is built into a console with sloping sides and recessed side panels to give the impression of a Terraced-Style console. It has Skinner-style key-blocks, lattice music desk, 4 specifications with all separate and independent pipe samples (totalling 184 pipe and orchestral samples) and 6 audio channels. The instrument has been installed in St. Joseph's Church by Phoenix' Texas representative, Roy Daniels, and is transportable for demonstrations throughout the state of Texas. The horizontal part of the console can be removed from the bottom for ease of transport and carrying to balcony installations.

Of course, all Phoenix Organs are built using Crown Power Amplifiers, Lexicon Reverb Processors and Furman Power Sequencers. These companies are leaders in the audio field.      .

Fr. Tom Goodwin who is a very accomplished organist himself says: "I was amazed at how the separate stops maintained their integrity when the ensemble was built up. Also the Acousticubes just filled the room as would a pipe organ. I was also impressed with the quality of the cabinetry..certainly no shorcuts were made here. The overall quality of the instrument far exceeded what the price would seem to dictate...an excellent value. It is virtually impossible to tell the difference between the Wicks pipe organ (installed next to the Phoenix) and the Phoenix digital organ.

PT 344 Terraced-Style Console

The cabinet of this organ is one of Phoenix new French tab style consoles. The stop tabs are across and above the Swell manual. It is well proportioned, with lattice-style music desk, Skinner-style key blocks, cherry and ebony keyboards, toe piston bolsters and the console can become 2 pieces for moving into tight entrances or upstairs.

It has 44 stops over three manuals, and four totally independent specifications. There are two audio channels for the mains, which include 2 AcoustiCubes and a floor-loaded, powered sub-woofer, and a surround system, which includes two satellite speakers and a floor-loaded, powered sub as well. The surround system is a Lexicon MX400 processor unit. Basically, both main and surround channels are bi-amped. The surround is completely adjustable from the LCD installed in the console.

Mr. Sachnik says: "The Cherry wood keyboards are just beautiful and the sound of the instrument far exceeded my expectations from a digital organ.  The organ complements my library just beautifully.  I couldn't be more pleased with the installation.  Mr. Daniels even included a piano sound module at no extra charge."
